Applying for APS jobs: tips, traps and techniques for applications, resumes and interviews

Date and Time: Saturday 18 April, 2015, 9.30am-12.30pm

Venue: Building 31, Ian Ross, R221, Graduate Teaching Rm, Australian National University

Cost: $20 for CSCS members; $25 for non-members.

This workshop is designed to assist academic people develop key interview skills.  Participants will learn how to write evidence-based, results-focused, job-matched resumes and applications for APS job. The workshop will also cover highlighting your own capabilities when writing and preparing an interview as well as building skills in self-promotion and responding to interview questions in a concise, coherent, confident manner.
